GovPlayers

We’re looking for experienced contributors on GovPlayers.

So if you have something to say about government contracting, send us your article. If it’s published not only will you have the joy of knowing you’ve helped the government contracting community, but you get a chance to promote your company as well!

Our contribute form is linked at the bottom of this page, but you should read everything below before you hit ‘Submit’. This will help ensure our time isn’t wasted, and neither is yours.

What we’re looking for:

We look for the following things in contributions:

• Expertise – It really helps if you know what you’re talking about!
• Web Writing – Writing on the web works best when it’s not too verbose, and makes use of lists and headings to break up the text. Check out Isaac’s Posts for a good example of writing for the web.
• How-To, Informative, Resources – GovPlayers is a How-To blog, so we value posts that provide the reader with information about how they can improve their government contracting career, or resources to do so.
• Lists & Guides – Got a talent for writing content that does well on social media? We love lists, guides, comparison reviews and the like.

Before you make contact with us, read this:

• It is entirely up to the editor to select articles for publication. We offer an article pitch form in case you want to test out an idea. Otherwise your article must be finished when submitting.
• The article you submit is your original work and not published elsewhere. (Please credit all sources, assets and use common sense.)
• Due to the sheer number of submissions we receive, you may not receive a response in the case of rejection. Please feel free to use the piece elsewhere after two weeks.
• Your article may be edited prior to publishing.

If your article is accepted:

• You grant a license to GovPlayers to be the exclusive publisher of the article online. You may republish extracts online – for example on your own site – however the article in its entirety should not appear elsewhere. You may also republish the article offline in any way you wish – e.g. sell it to a magazine, submit it to a book.
• You consent to the full article, extracts, samples or examples from it appearing in other GovPlayers sites, products and services.
